Wow, we have been doing some serious slacking on this blog lately. We just can’t help it with the fabulous weather we have been getting around here. Our free time has been spent running, biking, walking, or a combination of all three. With the wedding right around the corner, we are trying to be as active as possible so we look our best. Melanie even has Adam eating healthier!

We have also been spending a lot of our time finalizing wedding details. The most exciting news lately is that ThE BRiDESMAiDS DRESSES HAVE ARRiVED! They are stunning, and that’s all we are saying for now.

In other news, we have decided we need to expand our DVD collection (haha). But seriously, we are compiling a list of our favorite movies we watched as children. The top ones on our list (besides all the classic Disney movies) are Honey, We Shrunk The Kids and Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves. We are renting all of these movies to make sure they are still just as good as we remember, and surprisingly, so far they are! We rented Air Bud and Pippi Longstocking last night. Tonights movie viewing will include Homeward Bound and Homeward Bound 2: Lost in San Francisco. We have yet to find any of the Disney Channel Original movies (Johnny Tsunami, Brink!, Model Behavior). And of course Melanie thinks it is completely necessary to own every one of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s movies starting with To Grandmother’s House We Go and ending with New York Minute. If you have any movie suggestions for us, they would be greatly appreciated! What were your favorites growing up?

Other than that, we are just keeping busy with work work work! Hope everyone had a great Easter! And we promise to try to update this more often.

Much Love,
Adam & Melanie

Wedding {Menu Options}

We had the pleasure of sampling the menu options for the reception a few weeks back. We think everyone was in agreement that all three options were mouth-watering (except melanie, of course, who only ate her vegetarian option). So without further ado, here are your choices:

#1. Braised Beef Jardiniere with Cabernet Mushroom Sauce

#2. Breast of Chicken with Pecan and Coconut Crust, finished with Honey Maple Cream

#3. Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli with Saffron Double Cream and Toasted Walnuts

All dinner entrees include fresh baked dinner rolls, mixed greens, and chef’s selection of starch and fresh veggies. yummy! We will also be having a children’s option for ages 12 and under.
