We have set up a room block at a discounted rate for wedding guests at The Ramada Inn & Suites. We have chosen this hotel because they provide a complimentary shuttle service to and from Horizons Conference Center. If you are planning to fly into Saginaw, they also offer the shuttle service to and from MBS International Airport.

If you come to town on Thursday evening, they offer a complimentary dinner for all hotel guests in their dining room from 6pm-8pm.

We personally went to look at all room set-ups and tour the hotel and we were very pleased. We hope you will be too!

Please view their website for more information: www.ramadainnsaginaw.com.

Well, we officially have our wedding party! We wanted to share with everyone who they are and why they were chosen to be a part of our wedding day.

Melanie’s Attendants
Maid of Honor:

Lauren Richter- Sister of the Bride
Since 1991, I knew Lauren would be my Maid of Honor someday. From making up her own language when she was little to singing every word of any Rebecca Black song, there is never a dull moment when she is around. As my little sister, Lauren has always been there for me and has been my friend since the day she was born… at least most days. I can count on her for anything, and I hope she feels the same way about me. She has even been a great help with the wedding planning! Love you sister!

Bridesmaids:
Jenna Ewend- Best Friend of the Bride
Jenna and I have been friends since the fifth grade when Jenna rode her bike to my house and asked me to play. Little did we know then, that was the start of a lifelong friendship! Whether we are sitting at home doing nothing or on a vacation in Colorado, we are always perfectly content just being in each other’s company. Since living on Allendale together, life has taken us in different directions, but we have remained very close. With Jenna now being in Iowa, I am very thankful we perfected the art of phone calls during college.

Tonya Simon- Friend of the Bride
Tonya was one of my college roommates. When I first met her, I had no idea what a great friend she would turn out to be. Tonya is such a happy person, and her presence brightens up any room. She has always been so easy to talk to and she is the perfect shopping partner. We have had so many great times together and I am so thankful to have her as my friend.

Melissa Muszynski- Sister of the Groom
As Adam’s older sister, I figured Melissa would be protective of her little brother and find reasons why I wasn’t good enough for him. When I went to their house for the first time, I realized this wasn’t the case at all. Melissa has always been very nice to me and made sure I felt comfortable at large family gatherings. I couldn’t have asked for a better sister-in-law. We wish she lived closer so we could spend more time with her.

Adam’s Attendants
Best Man:
Charlie Hretz- Best Friend of the Groom
Charlie and I first met freshman year of high school back in August 2002. Since then we have enjoyed many adventures together from bowling, Madden nights, trips to CMU, golfing, and just hanging out. Between us the stories are endless and always end in a laugh. The memories that we have will never be forgotten, and I consider him my brother. We have seen the best and worst of each other and wouldn’t change anything. To this day, we do not talk or see each other as much as we would like, but no matter what we are always there for each other.

Groomsmen:
Trevor Dunlap- Friend of the Groom
I met Trevor in the second semester of our junior year at CMU while working at the SAC. It wasn’t until a few months later that we finally started hanging out on the Chippewa River. From then on we were inseparable, and at times it was thought that I spent more time with Trevor than with Melanie. Good times consisted of cold beverages and DVD’s of Family Guy, with the occasional Frisbee being thrown. It is a little more difficult with Trevor being down south in Missouri, but we always find some time to catch up.

Steve Lasky- Friend of the Groom
Steve and I (and Melanie) lived on the same floor of Saxe Hall our Freshman year of college in 2006. After two years of living apart we were reunited when we moved into an apartment together in Mt. Pleasant. While living together there were multiple games of Tiger Woods 2010 and MLB 2k9 played on the Xbox 360. From pong parties to just hanging out and watching the game, there was a roommate bond created that can’t ever be broken. The only problem that we had with each other was the work schedules, they were always opposite

Bryan Richter- Brother of the Bride
Since I first met Bryan I realized that he tells it like it is and speaks his mind, which always keeps the family gatherings entertaining. From family weddings to bowling nights, Bryan and I have always had a good time together. I am happy to have him as my brother-in-law. And of course you can always count on him to end any type of argument or awkward moment with a mysterious concoction from the liquor cabinet.

Each of these people are very important to us and we are so excited to have such a wonderful group of freinds/family in our wedding and in our lives.

Much Love,
Adam & Melanie
