Melanie recently got out the St. Patrick’s Day decorations. Oh who are we kidding, she’s been ready for it since Valentine’s Day passed. Anyways, here’s what’s decorating our apartment this month.
The “mantle” was first. After seeing how great the Valentine’s “Love” Blocks turned out, Melanie decided she may need some for every holiday. She made these “Lucky” blocks with scraps of paper she found while scrapbooking one day. She also made the wreath with a wire hanger and some fabric from Joann’s. The votive holder can be ordered via Beads By Melanie, and this adorable St. Patrick’s printable can be found here.
Next up was our adorable ladder shelf.
The fabric balls were made using styrofoam balls and scrap fabric from the wreath. The stackable wood blocks were made the using mod podge, scrapbook paper, 2×2′s, and stickers. The votives were purchased at TJ Maxx about a year ago, but happen to be a great touch for st patty’s day.
